This was not intended to be an AudioC0ke-thing, but all things considered, one could easely say that this was the first AudioC0ke-record. [everything : SD] |

This entire record was based on a weird weekend
with Caveman-John. 3 days on psychedelic chemicals & hallucinogenic mushrooms, running
around through the woods & stuff. Sunday evening, at the end of that
perticular weekend,
we were hiding from the rain in some kind of surreal restaurant. It was filled with freaks who
seemed to be even further out there then we were. To kill time we made this Dada-kind of poëm. Somewhere in the end-result this came up : "When the egg pounds back: blood, sugar, wine" I don't know what it means, but it sounded very "deep", so it became the concept for a new record. [everything by SD / Johan Waumans: backing vocals, ac. guitars] |

There was absolutely no inspiration when it came to making a cover for this (see ugly green thing below). It looks a lot better with the booklet turned around. [everything: SD] |

The songs for this record were recorded during the long, hot summer of 2003, wich is why they are so slow and lazy-sounding. [Stephen Daveloose: guitars, bass, vocals, programming / Trees D'hoore: backing vocal / Pieter Verfaillie: organ, vocals / Kenny Van Wassenhove: slide-guitar] |
